This saucer is realized with the technique of the mosaic of murrine. The mosaic technique affords the possibility of creating countless objects, and countless variations. The basic technique requires cold-assembling the murrine according to a preparate pattern, and then fuse the composition in the furnace to obtain a composite glass sheet that can be further worked once cooled.The sheet obtained will be placed in a metal mold to achieve the desired shape. This procedure makes also every piece only in the tonality of the color.
